We decided to stop here for a bite to eat. We had no idea what to expect. Once you step into the diner, you take a step back in time. The simple decor is great and the history of Highway 1 is amazing! I had the Western Star burger and it’s so worth it! You can taste the freshness in the food. The portion size is great! My son had the Club Sandwich and he loved it. Coffee was fantastic too! Highly recommend!

When I'm heading up the canyon I normally stop in at Hope for a bite to eat. This time I thought I'd try somewhere else. Get it? Somewhere Else! Past couple years I've been trying different places up and down Highway 1 in the canyon. Today it was time to try Somewhere Else. The inside does take you back to some of the history of Fraser Canyon, the highway, the trucks, the fish Burgers are all named after types of big rigs. Definitely going to stop here on the way back for a bite to eat. I got to try one of these burgers! As you can see I had the sausage and eggs. The potatoes were really a good surprise! Delicious! It was fun to be in the company of locals as well as travelers, I am definitely making this my go-to place for breakfast when I'm going up the canyon! Edit: I stopped in on the way home and tried their burger (hint: add a wiener)... It was very tasty as were the good old fashioned pub style beer battered onion rings!

A diner stuck in time. Food was delicious, ordered a burger and it reminded me of the ones I used to get as a kid, flavor packed and delicious. The host gave us a thank you Xmas card that was signed by hand, really thoughtfull. Highly recommend.
Seems like a typical diner, but far from. Such great food, it's hard to beat. We had a fantastic time and went for a breakfast run after our camping trip. The food was fantastic, the place was great, and the service was great too. Would definitely recommend this place with flying colours. Their toast is out of this world!!!

Unexpected step back in time! Fantastic old-school diner with killer food, as it should be. Burgers, fries, shakes..fresh, hot yet doing these well are so few and far between. Gail was fabulous, and the history of the place is a true Canadian gem. Must stop!
